I've just reactivated my Bkool subscription for 3 months. Cost me £7.99.

I'm not leaving Zwift, or packing up my Neo, but I wanted to see if they've made any improvement for non-Bkool turbos with the new simulator. I may rejoin the league for 3 months.

I had trouble with the beta version of the new Sim, which crashed my MacBook when I loaded it. I had to work with Apple support to remove a load of Bkool crap from my library.

Did anyone else have any upgrade issues? Did you upgrade from the old Sim? I thought somebody said they had to delete the old Sim first and then do a clean install of the new Sim, but maybe I imagined that?

Any advice would be welcome.
no upgrade problems, would be great to see you back racing

Bill. It says my stage 1 attempt did not count due to weight.

That is a mistake. I am fat and I stand by it.

Glad you are enjoying zwift. Some of us still prefer the overall experience bkool gives us, despite its (well documented) problems, video and 3d gives me a range of options that i don't think zwift does. As it seems you no longer have any affiliation to bkool and unless you are being paid by zwift to recruit people I don't quite understand why you are still posting so negatively in this BKOOL forum?

£13 a month has to be justified....

That was the difficult bit for me @Jim Brown ... Then I decide to cut out the 'Coffee Shop' Coffees and Subway Breakfasts (Difficult when you have a good independent coffee shop and a Subway in the units under your office  , and put the money 'saved' towards a zwift subscription). I'll be honest and say that I find the Zwift world a bit limited, certainly compared to BKool, I miss not going for a random pootle somewhere in the world. Now that BKool supports separate power meters, I may return if only to do some of my 'local' video rides ... Although I have started a training plan of Zwift which I have to say are so much better than on BKool ... and the good thing about the Zwift workouts is that they put you in the 'world' in erg mode so you are riding with others not staring at a power graph. Racing is really not my thing, I enjoyed last winter, especially the handicaps, but I do prefer social group rides, and that is easier to achieve and manage in Zwift.

They are different platforms for different but similar purposes, Leagues in Bkool are great, and it would be nice to have them in Zwift. If I get a 'very' good deal from Leila when my sub expires on Feb, I'll probably continue

Went to chemist today to pick up my asthma meds, and realised I pay £17 minimum each month which is less than any single subs I pay - for subs I currently have Bkool until May 19, BRVR (not been on much) and Zwift (which I pay monthly at grandfather rates, although that increases this month).

Now that’s what I call commitment... and still cheaper than joining a gym..

My knee is better noo, it’s not frozen solid up here anymore, it’s going to stop raining tonight.. so a little jaunt in the RW tomorrow morning.. :hyper:
