I won't be there tonight. Thursday's seem to be the evening of choice for the training rides we're doing at work in preparation for a charity bike ride.

I'll just be fitting in Chaingang rides when I can until winter comes back round as, like a lot of folks here, I do my cycling in the real world when the weather is agreeable :sun:

Me too but I'm pushed for time this week, we had a four day weekend last weekend... And it's raining in sunny Barcelona!

I'll be there and will be starting the Stage 1 Villa Toboso ride at 7.00pm with 10 mins warmup.
I have no idea how my 3 weeks off the turbo + flu will have effected my fitness so I'm just going to take it as it comes and if I feel like it I might try to put in a decent time. Otherwise it'll just be an ease back in before trying to give it the berries on Saturday. What I'm really trying to say is no point anyone slowing to give me a tow as I might not have it in me.

sorry bill had to back of.
got something going on in manland

hasnt been right since one of the cats stood on my port fender when i was lying in bed two weeks back
i thought it was because my fender had drifted out of my kegs while i was asleep and got caught in the lashings all night
who knows but with a few km to go it felt like said fender had shot up me pipes and got wedged

No worries AAAC. And Ouch!!! That sounds painful. Worst case scenario is that you might need to wrap an elastic band round it for a few days so it parts company with as little fuss and pain as possible.
Very quickly your guy was jumping back and forth but it still seemed easy enough to draft despite that. All very confusing for me as I seemed to be going far too quick for my effort and due to the fairy dust I had no idea if you were trying or not.

@Brusgaard thanks for trying to drag me along. I rode this morning and by half way I had nothing left in my legs. Barelyfinished.
Cheers anyway :okay:

You're welcome. My legs/body were tired as well, and I had hoped for a nice and slow ride like Bill sorta promised. Tried to catch you in the end, but then I shouldn't have waited for the French guy with around 500m to go. He got to ride like 200 m in front, before I put the hammer down like a true (wannabe) sprinter. :boxing:

Never had that problem with big pussies in bed myself but sounds like you got an infection.... Better be more careful what you do with your 'lynx' next time...
