Ok a planned workout and bkools paris roubaix part 1 done tonight.

The workout was zone 1 and 2. Very easy, relatively, to maintain the set power. The kickr has a very quick and finer resistance control than the bkool. The trace did not move more than 1 or 2 watts up or down. When I get into higher zones I'll let you know what I think as well.

The P-R part 1 was a different thing entirely. Power readings were up and down, as was resistance. I could not get into rhythm of maintaining a narrow power level, was aiming for 180-200watts. I'd be pushing 250w one second and 125w the next. Grinding at 70 then suddenly spinning at 95. I need to get more used to using the kickr for non workout sessions.

I think I'll carry on over the next few weeks doing a mix of workout/video ride sessions. I'll probably then look a doing a trainer road block if what I am seeing currently continues.

Looks more like a design product, could be good too, who knows. Probably need a lot of space around, quite a wide legs. Includes integrated rocking system.

Some very nice tech in the design and looks of the wheels. Expect £2000+ for the wheelset. Their decision to go tubeless is good, but wattage savings of 5W compared to tubular aren't worth worrying about. The aero gain from 60-77mm deep rims is far more important.

My subscription has apparently run out on 08/04 but bkool say I still have premium so not quite sure what's going on there. It could just suddenly cut out before firing up the session, so just in case. Hopefully all will be well though.
