It’s on the outskirts of Helensburgh Berty - it actual runs up to overlook Faslane Naval Base - the one with the nuke subs. I currently live 10 mins cycle from it. It’s been my route of choice for over six years. About 8 miles long and rarely visited by cars. There’s arguably a better Glen a little more north called Glen Douglas. Very Very pretty ride...... and closer to my new house. :becool:

I need to get my head engaged. 2nd time in a few days I've posted something to the wrong thread. The following was meant to have been here. :banghead:

I did a BRVR session yesterday. The power readings from the Kickr (displayed in BRVR) and the Vectors (displayed on an edge device) were within 5 watts of each other (165 ish watts on the session average).

There is a marked difference in feel when riding a workout on bkool and riding a normal session, bkool or BRVR. I'll be doing a workout session, as well as a normal session, again tonight. I let you know my thoughts after I've done then.

i was hoping that i would bump into that area next time i was up there after seeing your picture , but i think i will miss as i promised the support car ( my son ) we would go to Arran and out up to oban , and on the way back i think we will be the other side
lovely pictures though , think the scenery around the whole place is breath taking - fell off once just gawping at the view instead of the road

You will be pleased to know I have already tasted tarmac this year - first outing into Rutland and hit wet roads following a herd of cows and hit what I hope was a patch of mud at a junction and the front wheel just went leaving me using my thigh as a braking system yet again
