Santa is there early. Please post a photo so we can all show our wives what the lucky other guys are getting. Makes a list with a new derailleur and tires look lame.

Sure will. I've not had confirmation it's ready yet so I still may make the Chaingang ride.

The new bike will be my summer bike, with my all-rounder being used for commuting/winter riding. I'll use the new bike on the turbo over winter to get used to it though.

My current turbo bike is my trusty old 1980's Raleigh Clubman, complete with its six gears ^_^. It has been good to have it on the turbo rather than gathering dust at the back of the garage - makes me feel all nostalgic for the halcyon days of endless sunshine where I'd just hop on the bike and cycle all day with no destination in mind:smile:

Well that was a pile of p!ss ... nothing in the legs tonight ... either that or I've had the magic Bkool Fairy Dust for the last few CG's. I did try and hold @Whorty s wheel at the start, but was pushing around 500W to do so, 10 seconds of that and it was goodbye from him.

Well done chaps :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

A nice group to start with @LBHIFI, @bridgy, @Whorty and @Bill. 47-53kmh rotation stayed together until about the 15k mark the it went bang. LB dropped off and then Whorty @17k. Bill and Bridy battle it out until the end where Bridgy put in an stint from 1k @upto 900w to finish1st.

Watched that too, that is after watching @JacobSkovsgaard and Tommy Watt smash my WC3 by 2 minutes.
Looked like it was part of the Danish ride so hopefully it won't count or perhaps it was a shorter route.
I can but hope!

Well that was fun. At least it was until I got confused and thought Paul was trying to dump me about 3/4 way and hard as I tried I couldn't keep up. Then when I gave up I realised that it was me out front :cursing: killing myself for nothing so was able to team back up again with Paul, but was never quite the same after that. I must remember to look at the leader board at the side instead of concentrating on the drafting window in front. :huh:
Excellent sprint at the end Paul and there was nothing I could do to keep up even though I saw 1000w on the readout. Great ride though, just a pity it wasn't a four man sprint at the end. Well done @Whorty for keeping up as long as you did.

That was flippin hard work! Just couldn't hold on at the 17k mark. Well done @BILL S and @bridgy although you 2 dropping me was never in doubt :okay::notworthy::surrender:

Legs were a bit tired from racing this afternoon. but since I can't make the Saturday rerun, I thought I would give it a try.
Got a good workout anyway (and some company, thanks Aleman :thumbsup:)
I was surprised when you dropped off as I was sure I'd be first to go .... but then you having raced already today explains why :okay: how do you manage to race twice in one day :notworthy:

You and @Aleman kept me working to the end - I wasn't sure if you'd chase me down so I had to keep working hard :heat:

Thanks @BILL S :okay: At the 17km mark I just couldn't get back on to your wheel, even with the encouragement from @AAAC 76C ..... legs and lungs were just at their max :B)
