Even though I've got ten years or so on you (I think), I have a similar mentality. I've thought about doing some of the rides again for a better result time but never done it yet. That may change in the next league though . I've noticed that having a quick ghost to tag on to can work wonders so may do an early run then a later one near the end of the week. Mind you, how I'm going to do that and get out on my road bike in the better weather I don't know.
A quick ghost or a live Bill, does make a huge difference doesn't it? You are prepared to endure a lot more suffering to save face. The beauty of BKool! On a straightforward turbo trainer I know I would just pootle along sat within my comfort zones, no way would I punish myself like I do here for an hour and a half.
I doubt I will do league runs more than once, for the simple reason I need to focus any non league time on doing flat speed work.
Has anyone got a cadence meter on their BKool Pro? I know they claim you don't need one, but the readouts are very inaccurate.
Your thoughts?

So I was undecided on whether to renew my subscription.....20% discount so I did....much prefer the kickr to the bkool trainer tbh....feels more realistic and stable

Thank everyone, Hurt less than previous goat climbs.

You would not believe it but it has actually melted the rear tyre - F1 style marbles anyway. See picture

I may not make the ride tonight after all. Apparently I've been doing to much sport need to spend an evening with the wife!

I switched to a 29er mtb tacx trainer tire last week and it seems to go alright, with plenty of grip if I need to stand up in the 10-12% parts compared to the normal road version that used to slip.

Yes or if you do 6 miles and get booted off your computer  doing it again today on my main computer!...nice 32" screen as well.

Well done Mark. I knew you'd muster up the enthusiasm to go again. If its any consolation an internet pop-up from some program running in the background once appeared near the end of one of my runs and locked up my computer. Needless to say I uninstalled that program immediately. Apart from that, all other times I had to re-do a session was because of Bkool. In fact I think I might be re-doing one tonight as my calculation tells me it might be worth my while ;)

Your new avatar looks a bit rude Mark. What's that runner trying to do to that poor cyclist? It would certainly make me cycle faster!

What's your Mrs bike doing in the hallway anyway Adam? You seem to edging it closer & closer to the bedroom. :hugs: :smooch: :hyper:
