it took me 9:29 in the real world today, 8.2% slower compared to 8:47 last night on the KICKR and the PowerTap averaged 245 Watts for the 8.2% slower time, 10% less than the 271 Watts on the KICKR last night.
P.S. I put the average gradient, average speed (7.5 mph and 8.1 mph) along with my weight details, etc. into the Power calculator http://www.gribble.org/cycling/power_v_speed.html and got just about perfect matches of power and average speed for both the outdoor session with the PowerTap and the indoor session with the KICKR, so I would say the power figures for both are pretty close to what they should be.
