Another in door cycling must have.
Well done though, as a group we are doing well lately on prizes all be it none of us have got any of the big ones. I think they are reserved for the Spaniard's in order to save on postage.

I'm quite happy with my 150 quid skid lid (when it comes)... if I'm to try keep up with @Whorty, I'll need to put in extra effort - all that effort may mean I'll be a little fatigued on finishing - therefore, the new super duper helmet will come in handy - even on the Bkool... it has also been mentioned before, that when we super fit atheletes get up off the couch too quickly, we can sometime feel a little feint - If the new helmet arrives this weekend, I will wear it whilst watching Sunday's mammoth TDF stage - I'll get up quickly for a pee during one of the many adverts, safe in the knowledge that whilst I may be found on the floor of the small room, slumped in a puddle, my head will be fine..

Thank you Bkool

Get some TP's to save getting up too often.
If you get the maxi's which should last a whole stage, why take the risk of standing up, especially when drinking.

PS Jim lad, didn't realise your prize was such a stunner.
I'm wearing one of my BKool gastric bands now on account that I've run out of TP's.

@Jim Brown won the helmet (as you know now), and I think that is the premium/most expensive prize, that has ever been in their prize draws.

Like said in another post, during the winter I've won some prizes in Danish races. In one of them, the grand prize was a giftcard worth dkr. 5.000 (~£590). Didn't win that but "only" a pair of Specialized Turbo Pro tyres. :-) Nevertheless, it's always funnier when there is a chance of winning something. Almost as funny as beating @Whorty

Nothing funny about beating a middle aged, overweight asthmatic bloke! Should be a given for you youngsters

Okay, besides the astma, the rest would be a perfect description of me. I do have hayfever, which is sort of like asthma. Judging from your Facebook photos, you are not much older than me, and age is no excuse, just look at @AAAC 76C

I've had hayfever all my life. Never been a big problem until this year. Doc thinks its linked to the asthma. As for age, I'm a young, for bkool, 47. But fitter than I've been for 20 years thanks to all this cycling :bicycle:

Pretty decent effort there Whorty. Any quicker and you'd have passed me and AAAC.
I stayed with you both until 8k to go then lost contact. Was really strange riding with aaac's ghost ..... Easy to stay with on positive gradients, but as soon as it went +1% plus he flew. Couldn't draft him as I was either shooting past him, or having to ride like a nutter to get back to him! Good fun though
