Yes it ruins average speed whilst you jump over hedges for a quiet pee:biggrin:

I take electrolyte with salts/minerals since TdY where I had bad cramps later on. I have had no cramps or sudden loss of power since. Just the usual dying of a thousands cuts from the what feels to me a relentless pace on club runs.

No cramps as long as I remember to drink  I alternate between this and plain water

Your average speed suggests it was pretty relentless!

TT, you could have slotted in just behind Andy:okay:

On a serious note what's your preferred method for removing the hair from your legs?

Bob Bob Bob... I have a feeling you're still being a little hard on yourself for getting dumped on the last hill... What with the age variable I think it'll be another 25 years (?) before we can make a fair comparison between us. ;)

With regards the legs I don't have much hair to start with to be honest so it's not much effort. If you're looking for advice regarding you're own legs may I suggest you start by looking here:

Who has Wahoo Element, what do you think of it compared to Garmin. I have a Garmin 800 it works perfectly and now I've figured how to upload rides from my Android phone whilst on tour. I'm just gauging if it's worth updating my nav
I've got a elemnt bolt, and absolutely love it. I had a garmin 510 but it started crashing on routing, so decided to move away. The elemnt's screen is easy to read, it's easy to set up via smartphone and the maps work well(I didn't get it for maps but have used them a couple of times). The only negative is if you want directions then you have to plot the route in ridewithgps. Strava routes will load up ok, but you don't get the route directions.

I haven't had to do on the fly routing yet.

The bolt is quite a bit smaller than the elemnt but looks nicer in my opinion. The screen is like e-ink so no sun glare. one good feature is the ability to see other wahoo users on the map, useful if a group gets split. The LEDs also show the directions, ie left or right, but are difficult to see on a bright day.

OK Gentlemen CG4 ghost available, i found it to be tougher than i thought it was going to be (possibly because of 34 degrees Manila heat and my knee  ) Whorty i definitely think you can beat me on this one, good luck to all
Can confirm, that's an 'interesting' course! :B) Profile is effectively downhill, but the gradients are -0.5% type descents, so pretty much flat so quite hard work.

@Steve clearly had a mare though as I bettered his time by 9 mins, which doesn't feel right. I didn't get big watts or speed, so must be a problem Steve's side

It was very hot here during the ride (over 30 degrees in the cave) but I got myself a fan today so that was a big help. Not sure I could have finished without that :sun:

Surely it won't take you that long to recover ^_^

I reckon we should have a crack at Richmond park at some point bud. I reckon Bill may come along too if he thinks his lap record is under threat!

Nahh, I was thinking we need roads clear of traffic so you can't come up with some poxy excuse about being held up by someone or something

Richmond pk? Sure, especially when Bill can join us- though a flattish route plays to those woosh wheels on that lightweight spendy bike of yours. The satisfaction will be all the greater:okay:
