Probably unable to make the live race tonight so did it last night just in case - sounds like I'll at least be there in ghost form though!

Look out for the dead stop at the end of the initial downhill (cue frantic crunching of gears!)

Will be giving some of that outside cycling malarkey a go on sunday:hyper:

Me too hopefully. Probably my last chance before we go away for a couple of weeks. Then the dreaded Double D! You heading out to Surrey?

Can i interest you in some utterly buttery smooth transitions from a purveyor of cycling sims called "zwift"? ;)

Don't feel like this :B) when you can choose zwift and feel like doing this :girldance:

:giggle:
Are you on commission or something?!

I've done a free trial of Zwift - liked some aspects, less keen on others. At the moment I'm doing a lot more outdoor rides and less on the trainer anyway don't see the point in paying for Zwift as well as Bkool (I have the best part of a year's Bkool subscription after I accidentally let it auto-renew!). So for now, I'm quite happy for my occasional indoor rides to be on Bkool - but I might consider joining you on Zwift in the Autumn/winter......

And on that note, I'm off for a mountain bike road after work tonight....!

More than likely up through Crystal Palace and out into Kent. Surrey is just chocka with cars and cyclists though Leith and Box Hill are tempting. I will be taking it easy on account of, well, you know, otherwise i would say join me. But wary of doing so in case I have to cut the ride short.

I fancy a crack at box hill myself but it's around 60 miles there and back from up here, and that's through central London so not a great route really. Maybe in the summer I'll get a train out there in preparation for 'ride london'. Sunday I'm heading up to Hertfordshire to do a sportive which looks quite testing.

With regards Wales. I think I'll keep the 'family' sized room I booked rather than trying to downsize. So if you do have a change of heart, or if anyone else needs a room to crash in, there'll always be the option.

Well TT, all thing she being equal, and if I manage to move my jury duty obligations to later this year I would love to join you and will need a bed to sleep in. What time is your train up? Looks like a convoluted journey.
