Hey @Whorty have you seen that Bkool have replied on Facebook today to your query back in March as to why the Winter Cup was being updated?

"It's fixed" apparently! Great work Bkool for fixing a problem on the 12th April which was affecting the Winter Cup - which finished on 9th April
Oh sorry Whorty, I see you did reply to them - they've put that comment about it being fixed twice and I only saw one of them. They're obviously very proud of themselves!

I wouldn't say I'm good up the hills .... I just enjoy the challenge. Flat cycling is a bit too 'easy' (in that you can take it easy if you want and don't have to push yourself) whereas the hills are never easy as taking it easy means rolling back down again

Rolling downhill backwards is quite a skill though, especially on a fixie.
But to get any good practice in one must negotiate at least some of the hill first.
I can't see it becoming a sport any day soon though but it would be quite common if all pubs were at the bottom of hills.

Maybe that's where I've gone wrong? All the pubs I've known have been at the bottom of hills. If they had been at the top, I'd be a goat..

I would probably also be dead due to not reaching the bottom of the hill due to a skin full...

As for flat rides being boring... in my youth all the 10 's & 25's were flat and never boring... never boring... :becool:

Tonight's ride not showing again ... it's greyed out. Up until the other day I'd not suffered this bug before and rides always showed up fast. Very frustrating.

When I finished my ride at about 6 o'clock, there were only 348 users on Bkool. This must be the lowest number of live riders I've ever seen on Bkool. Must be the warm weather although I don't recall such low rider numbers last summer

Everybody knows that Tuesday is pub day. Anyway, save your self for tomorrow's CG... it's flat, boring and very fast... :tired:

Don't be fooled by those numbers, they are probably last weeks.
Or perhaps even last months!

Was that pre-derailleur days when Sturmey Archer 3 speed hubs were the Testers Choice Jim?

My youthful 10 & 25's were post-derailleur and post 6 speed cassettes but pre-indexing

I TT'd on a 13 thru 18 cassettes and a 44/42 chainset and nothing but Campag Record (or Super) would do (all be it my 54 chainring was of Oriental origin).
