Coming down with man flu, do I sweat it out on Finestre or do an easy ride option??
Forget the turbo altogether! Go to bed, thats what I would do!

Did the Thursday night League ride tonight and it's not showed up. Cracking ride and long and tough for a Thursday nighter. Should be really good for a group ride if there's a good number show up on the start line.

So I had a go a Finestre, had some problems with it - first time I started my wheel was spinning as soon as I hit the incline. I cleaned the bkool + tyre then changed my weight back to what it used to be and restarted and it was fine. The internet then cut out half way up then came back after a minute or so. Hopefully after all that it will count.

Nice!!!! Beat me by 4.5 mins. You made serious watts going up there. And congratulations on your Pro 6 !!!

You don't have much luck on the uploading!

It is a nice run, thanks to Peter (Pedro2015) for uploading it and suggesting it. The early part is quite rolling and should make for some close riding. Long'ish for a Thursday night run, took me 49 minutes when I tried it out a few weeks ago.

I'm skiing next week, perhaps I should take my garmin and upload the ski lifts to get a few more ascents, before you do next weeks Mountain Goats!

I'm beating you on calories, is there a jersey for that?

Geoffs the man to answer this in depth but i think it may be luck of the draw with the firmware as i got mine from wiggle a few weeks ago and everything 'seems' as expected, im getting accurate cadence and my stages PM is about ranges from 10% variation at lower wattage to 2-3% when goimg for it. That was using my garmin as a comparison.

I regards to the ultra high cadence, i had that once when it picked up my hub speed sensor for some reason but a reset resolved it and i was only on the velodrome warming up but apart from that it picks up my garmin candence sensor fine.

EDIT : oh and as a premptive measure i had heard about the fan cover squeak issue so figured rather than wait for it to happen i asked wiggle for a spare and they sent one!!

ANOTHER EDIT: Just realised, Geoffs like our very own DCRainmaker:bravo:

Thanks. I have a Tacx Genius and was doing some watt intervals when it blew up on me. I picked up a Bkool when I took it for repair.
I have a pretty good sence of how 200 - 600 watt feels like from the Tacx, and it is just way harder on the Bkool.
On the Tacx I've had a chance to compare two mountain stages with real life and got identical times.
In the beginning I couldn't even do any watt intervals on the Bkool, since it reported watts all over the place, varying 150 watt on the velodrome straight.
With the latest software update, I'm at least able to do watt intervals, but am just trying to figure out how much to add to get a realistic value.

So you're off skiing the week of Moncenisio ?? How very convenient I must say.

The jersey I'm getting for you is:

Thanks Bill, getting 100% effort for 1.5 hours is impressive - I only managed 88. I was thinking the whole way up must maintain about 340w as Bills probably lighter and wont fade at the end. Thanks for the motivation. The pro 6 was a surprise but once again I did my weekly test and it went up 40w - I'm sure the plateau and the hell of high intensity interval training is coming!
