Got back from the hospital a while ago. Turned out they were quite busy tonight... Didn't get x rays but the doc basically agreed it was either bruised bone (4 weeks to heal) or hairline fracture (6 weeks). Good news is physical activity within reason actually helps the healing process. So basically crack on and man up!

Not to worry, the race at 17.30 started too early and many people jumped in and out in disbelief. I gave up and returned to the couch to watch football. :-) Will be back at 19.30 for the next iteration... Hope they get their s**t together at that time... :-)
