I watched some of the official video last night. Around the 2 hour mark your overtaking manoeuvre on stage 2 was just so funny. How on earth you pulled so many watts was incredible. To top it off with bridgy going past at the end whilst seeing the Danes on their bikes.. you could see he was a broken man.. very funny and inspiring at the same time. Great memory for your scrapbook...

The big watts were 100% Bridgy's fault!

I was just happy giving myself a big pat on the back for catching him when he pointed out we should chase down the other guy too!

Thanks Jim, it's a shame you couldn't paint on the road.

Oh don't get me started AAAC... I am still struggling to accept that it was a closed ride due to the possibility that Bkool couldn't cope - pathetic. I can't thank the Danes enough for their efforts - they were brilliant, and believe it or not, during the live feed they were actually apologising for the video quality. There was none needed.

Bkool should be apologising for being inept.

Add to that the great work Geoff did, we can all continue to enjoy that magnificent spectacle again and again..

And finally - does anyone want to buy a paintbrush and a tin of white paint?

Done.

I thought you'd need the paint to do some road artwork for @theboxers on the DD? Try not to get arrested..

Ive decided to redo the Nations Cup events on Monday but reducing my weight to 80kg which is my goal for next year... just to see if I could have done any better.... and get some hopeful inspiration of what losing weight could do for me.
You are mad!

I'm not going DP - paying to cycle up huge hills is not my idea of fun... to those who are traveling to complete the DD I take my flat cap off to you.. I've got three Sportive's lined up in the next couple of months and all are 'gently rolling'..

I need to get more real world rides done but it's always blumming raining... and that ain't fun either.. :rain:

First, congratulations once again to the Cyclechat 5. It was very impressive riding. When the movie gets made I suggest Angelina Jolie plays the part of AAAC.

My new rear derailiur arrived yesterday and after I put it on realized something was wrong. I had ordered a rival 1 by mistake. I thought no problem I'll ride the big ring until I could get another one. Then while checking it out the Bkool pro started making the dreaded "not able to home"chatter. After taking it apart I found the brass extension on the stepper shaft was worn out. I tried to put a new nut on the magnet holder but it only worked for a few times.
Has anyone tried to buy replacement parts? On the plus side I'm blaming my poor performance yesterday on a bad unit.
