Not sure why you panicked Andy...were you not on the 34 pretty much from the off? Or was there a downhill bit?

Sounds great!
Good to see the old Bob back and indulging in some of his legendary pre-race bravado. :notworthy:

Out of interest Bob, if there's no TTT tonight do you prefer CG or WC?

@BILL S doesn't look like the TTT is a go'er, please can you run a WC or CG tonight.

It's my wife's birthday today, so I'm on cooking duties anyway!

It is nice to have mild enough weather for an outside ride, but the road conditions are shocking! I went out last week and the lanes were like the Somme, my riding buddy had his third puncture in about 10 days, but for some reason I was spared! At one point we came around a corner and they were actually ripping out the entire hedgerow, and had left it strewn across the road for 500 yards. We stopped and carried the bikes to avoid inevitable punctures.

I seem to remember hearing that tractor drivers were supposed to stop and clean their wheels before driving on the roads, and horse riders were supposed to go back and clean up after their horses, but neither bother around here, as the roads were covered in hedge cuttings, mud and sh...

Will do Geoff. Thanks for checking out the road conditions for those of us with cycling agoraphobia. Yet again more reasons not to stray from our lofts, spare rooms, garages and sheds. Hopefully some of the less cautious amongst us will have read about your exploits and decided to join us in the virtual world tonight. Think about the health and safety guys.

Any preferences between CG or WC tonight at 7pm?

I am not biting on that Bill and watching you lot ride off into the dust while I swear and moan-it would be a very lonely ride. If i could stay with you i would but that is not possible any more, as much due to your improvement as bkools dodgy algorithms.
I was going to do a fast paced 30 mile chaingang ride at sensible watts and speed.

Yes. I'm signing up when I get home for a year. Or is it rolling month on month subscription?

Rolling month, don't forget about some of the new products that are free at the moment as well, bigringvr and roadgrandtours they are worth a look although no racing yet.

I'd prefer WC, I'm not being lazy as I would do a good warm up, but with you guys, I could put in a good time for @Whorty to chase.
