Hi all,

I got a second-hand Bkool trainer last week and am really enjoying it. I've done a number of routes on it, and am firmly fixed at level Amateur 1. I'd like to join the Thursday night league please. My Bkool account name is 'Zach' and I live near Matlock in Derbyshire. I'm a keen runner but injury (stress fracture of left fibula) means cycling is the only way to go for a while. I took the opportunity to buy a road bike and, due to awful weather, the trainer.

Hope you accept and I'll be at the back!

Taaaadaaaa, I'm back! I survived the Amsterdam Stag do! But I see my Huez run hasn't counted, and you guys have set some great times.

Hi Zach and welcome, fellow runner myself that does a bit of cycling on the side.
Stress fracture, had my injuries but nothing like that, hope you mend soon bud and cycling will definitely help.

Alpe d'Huez beckons. You have until Thursday I think. Just select from the Leagues tab as the ride will be automatically added now that you're members of the Mountain Goat group.

I will try and join you tomorrow evening if I can, I still have to put a valid Huez time in, and I should be almost alcohol free by then!

Hi Adam. Would I be right in thinking that as long as someone selects the ride from the Leagues tab then everyone else wanting to join in will find the ride in the Live tab and it will state that its a League ride and everyone's ride will count towards the league? I think this is how it works? Geoff?

Why isn't your Huez attempt showing up in the individual league table Bill, but it is there in the Huez tab?

Yes surely does work that way. That's how Geoff gets us all in the Thursday League rides. As long as RJ starts it from the league tab, I can join and it will count. I bloody hope so anyway, because if I have to do it a third time, I'll be so narked!

That should be how it works, if you want to go together, you have to join within the 10 minute warm up.

I'll also be looking to do Huez tomorrow evening. Not sure if a long steep climb is ideal for group riding mind, you tend to have to go at your own pace ...
