Fantastic ride cyclechatters :notworthy: I really didn't expect Bill to lead the team over the line, much better strategy, holding back a little :bravo:

I recorded it for anyone interested - https://www.dropbox.com/s/b86opky8upamks5/Bkool Indoor 09_02_17 19_10_31.mp4?dl=0

Download it for best quality, I'll leave it up for a few days before I remove it.

Interesting that you can see when I switch views that several times the riders became invisible and you can just see their name tag floating above nothing. The failure to reduce the number of such bugs is really a big issue...

Adjusted times (Moving Time + Start Time)

Jim and Marino get the most improved awards, which helped Team Beige/White/Grey win.
Steve also improved a lot, I expect partly from Bill's great lead-out, and Berty went even faster from the back.
Team blue were a minute or two over handicapped, apologies for that. I'd relied on them gaining more from the drafting.
Well done all! Great to see the newer guys gaining ground so quickly...

Come to the dark side young Lars.... ^_^
Pair your pedals as a power source and you will feel the power of the dark side.

None of this bkool/Yoda silly powers BS ^_^
That's just it. They removed that option with the new fancy BSim. If you pair an external power source, the trainer will be dumped and it will just act as a dumb trainer and you will not be able to participate in league sessions ..

That wasn't me holding back. That was me hitting a very unexpected dead stop. I'm seem to be getting a high power readout on the flat but a low one up the hills. On the second ride I felt fine but could only manage 250 watts or so when we hit the hill. I therefore decided to not bother finishing that ride.

I know. They will probably bring it back when they level the playing field for all trainers/power meters:rolleyes:

The Dark side awaits you in ...Zwift.

I might look it up and if not doing anything that weekend, do the short ride. I'll shout your name next time I ride through Cranwell
I have a little 30 miler I do sometimes.
I usually come up from Rauceby past the airport through your village and across the A15 down to Ruskington and home through Heckington
Yep know the route well, when you hit the A15 do you go straight across towards the nursing home? (I realise this is amazingly dull for anyone not in our little bit of the world)

Not much change after calibrating. Still wrong distribution of watts.
One thing did change though

upload_2017-2-9_21-59-26.png

... a little blurry but that's 3.1 km/h (1,9 mph) at 328 watts . Didn't have the self discipline (and time ^_^) to finish that session.

Sorry to go on about this but I want to get as much info about differences as possible.
Do you also find it almost impossible to overcome blue number when descents gets steeper than 4%? I seem to recall that this was possible once.

Brilliant ride @BILL S :notworthy:

That nearly killed me! Well sprinted at the end there DP

How you feeling after that AAAC?

Felt good enough to have a go at the hill but felt a real pr4t because I unintentionally didn't save the first ride.
My little mouse pad mounted on my bars needs a double tap to make it work most times (don't ask me why it's just how it is).
This time the first tap worked and by the time the second tap activated the pointer had move left and hit the don't save button.
It happened so quick I didn't really see it but I didn't get the activity saved prompt.
Anyway thanks all for dragging my skinny 4rse round as it has blown out some cobwebs but at no point after catching Bill at the start did I feel like I could do anything but sit in draft.
Towards the when DP was dragging me along I couldn't react to him trying to drag me back and I saw you and Bill riding away so I slowed up to try to say to DP 'ride on' but he didn't so I picked myself up and had another go and finished quite well (I think).

On the climbing stage I didn't mean to leave you behind toward the end Bridgy I just had to stand up for a while and the resulting effort gave me a bit of a boost.
Still considering the fact that we had just done a hard ride I couldn't believe that we were over 5 minutes plus back on the leaders at the end but saying that 20 to 25 minutes is like a hard 10 mile TT so perhaps we did pretty well considering we had done one already 15 minutes before.
None the less I think we are going to have a hard job matching the Spanish team unless all of this is part of my pre Jacobs Cup operation sting.

I also think a lot of the quicker guys are on old FW, those with Classics without doubt so they can probably still 'surf the blue'.
I am going to remove my BSim and reinstall from the website just for safe measure.
I had a dead stop as well, came as a real surprise as everyone else apart from Bill seemed to gallop off.

162 bpm registered today - I am happy with that:
(You can see may cadence dip where I was giving my laurels a rest and just to change my position for a while)

I agree on the hilly stage 8 - probably not my best possible attempt but no way I'm going to find 7 minutes!!

Don't worry, the dead stops are still killing me as well. If removing the firmware and reinstall works let us know if it's any better.
