Thanks Paul. I did wonder which was my weakest but when I looked I realised they were all hilly ones, so not too keen on having a hilly chaingang ride. Doesn't seem to be any long flat ones.
Maybe I'll see if I can get a new league set up or if not on time I might just pick a suitable flat ride.

I am now going to do a double thumbs up at all cyclists going through my village in case it is you. I expect you to do the same in return so I can identify which one you are.

I quite like the little ramp leading upto the 's' bend, power over the top and then it's a fast run down to the A15^_^. I used to go straight across the A15 on my MTB but now have turned left on the A15(road bike) and taken the road route down to Ruskington. A bit scarey on the A15:ohmy:

Mavic Yksion Pro Griplink 23mm
Cheap on ebay. New (other)
I had the mavic Yksion pro and it didn't give me particularly good traction compared to my halfords trainer tyre. Not sure what the griplink version is like though... must be good as you were hammering it along!
Edit. Thinking about it they were the elites not pros. OK outside but not on the trainer!

Yup A15 is horrible, I cycled home from Newcastle last year and the worst bit was the A15 from Lincoln, stupidly thought it would be quicker than the quiet roads.

Never tried that particular tyre type before but power readout immediately improved and noticeable during the warmup. Also very nice hum against the roller. Halfords trainer tyre sounds good and will probably try that one next.

I was looking for another trainer tyre in Halfords on Wednesday but they didn't have one.
Walked out with a tyre twice the price and not necessarily as good fro turbo speed.

I'm up to trying a TTT on Saturday, if popular and nothing else is preferred?

I don't use the A15 or A17 except for a few hundred yards. Coming from Lincoln I take the first left just before Waddington airbase and go down Scopwick, alot less traffic.

When the weather gets better if you fancy a ride out let me know? I work from home most days so are reasonably flexible on timings.
