Well done everyone, quite close in the end.

Lars, thanks for jumping in and working so hard to catch Bill and Steve, I'm really sorry to dump that on you so suddenly.

Rod, I'm afraid I didn't see you on the line, then you appeared way ahead of the rest of your team, no idea what happened there? Did you join late?

Only just enough riders to make it work, you all did a great job of working together.

Geoff
Sorry Geoff. I missed the final instructions, started at 7:04 and thought that other team mates would catch me up, and wasnt sure who I should have been cycling with so kept going. Not really in the right spirit but good exercise. My wife reminds me that i am not really a team player, so sorry everyone behind!

Sorry, I just imprinted in my mind that I was on Bill's team, and that our start time was 7:10. When I glanced this thread on my phone during warm up, I just saw the words "Bill" and "7:05" and thought I must have misunderstood something and jumped in as fast as I could.

Well, it was a fortuitous misunderstanding, as I had asked you to suddenly switch teams and try and catch Bill and Steve, when I couldn't see Rod in the session and they needed a third player. Really cruel to ask so late for you to chase most of the race, but you did great and it worked well in the end.

Really need to get just a few more riders to make it work better, you're all working too hard, think about your work/bkool balance! ;)

I wonder if more people would be able to attend at the weekend? But with the chaingang rerun and the WC, you've got quite a lot on anyway.

@BILL S, were you thinking of changing the Chaingang runs into WC runs for a while?

Bkool web site still down, not really anything like an hour! They should back it out and try again another day, once it is clear it is going to take so much longer than allowed for... should always have a back out plan for these type of things!

Being down for hours and hours, into the peak evening time, just damages reputations and loses customers. Backing it out, and then trying again a few days later would keep everyone happier!

My 2p worth... :addict:

Bit annoying, as I wanted to check the classification and see if any rides needed approving!

As always, thanks @gbrown Good fun. Thanks @Marino.g and @Jim Brown .... nice riding. Sorry I couldn't keep up on the downs! Pity @rob01792 didn't have the legs tonight - I tried to come back for you early on but you seemed to be holding back and not catching up, which is what I do when I want the team to crack on ... hope I read that right :okay:

struggling at the moment hopefully a few more weeks and I should be able to keep up I done that ride back in October in 42.31 tonight 49.04 big difference but I still enjoyed it

Rod, I see now that at 7:04pm you appear alongside Bill and Steve on the Start line and set off at a pace, but they start correctly at 7:05, by which time you have a hell of a lead on them, which you keep increasing all the way to the finish.

In the end, you finished 2.5 minutes ahead of them, so I would say it was a very impressive ride, if not for the fact it was a Team Time Trial!

So what's the verdict, TTT again next week? Try that course again or is there something more suitable?

We could try Tin Can Ten, as that is a Time Trial course?

I think the teams worked out OK'ish, Team White (?) seemed well matched, especially if Rob gets back on form, Team Blue were machines as ever, but the middle teams are always difficult to get right.

Hopefully with Andy, Tommy, Bob, etc. back in health with healthy trainers, and kinder commuting we might even make four teams one day...
