TR and Zwift need to connect the link from the other end as they did with Kickr, Elite etc

Where did it say the open protocol was up? on the about page?

Here - Scroll down and you'll read it under the Odds and Ends chapter.

They have even demonstrated ANT+ trainer profile support a year ago apparently...They are just holding out on us!

Response from bkool. I asked "Will the classic continue to receive the same updates as the pro? If bkool ever open up the ant+ to work with trainer road will the classic get the update?

They replied.

Hi peter,

Thanks for your message. Not all the updates will be available for the Classic trainer, but that particular update will.

Which says to me an update is on the cards for trainer road iintegration!

Still not good for the likes of us with Classic's for the future, when I do have to upgrade it certainly wont be to the Pro!

Just asked how long the classic will continue to be supported and what kind of updates it will miss out on. If it's not very long away ill be returning mine for the pro regardless of the trail period. I'm a gas engineer by trade and manufacturers of boilers have to make spares/support a boiler for a minimum of 6 years in the eyes of the law I can't see it being much different with these

Good call, im not sure on spains legacy spares rules!

I managed to read that DCR posts, i think we'll see TR soon and other 3rd party later down the line. DCR eludes to spring being a realease of new capability for Bkool which in theory is march, not suprising really as they want to keep people interested with new stuff (and indoors) as the weather turns.

Excellent response from bkool I'm happy to keep the classic now.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your message. We will keep giving support for the Classic. The updates the Classic will not have, will be the ones that contains something related to the features the Pro has and the Classic don't (like the cadence measure)
