Wouldn't it be nice if bkool did some decent training plans. Like one to increase your ftp. Or some heart zone training based on v02 max input

I could make a Saturday 5pm ride fairly often I reckon. Thursday 7pm is also good for me, although I have to do that one on a full stomach.
I try and eat during the late afternoon, not a full meal 2 or 3 bananas and other stuff before an evening ride, but I end up then having my evening meal late if I can stomach it, neither is ideal though is it.

Well I did used to think the Thursday Nighter was a bit of a friendly so having my evening meal before hand didn't bother me to much. However I now know that its quite a competitive race and to be taken more seriously ;) ^_^

Yes, each stage is available to be ridden at any time for a week but the USP of our group is to try and get as many members as possible to ride the same session together, to make it more fun! Riding multiplayer with other live riders is a different experience to riding against bots or ghosts, as live riders usually try harder to keep up with you!

Also you have option of grouping together and taking turns, etc. It gives you a chance to try out a bit of race craft.

Since some members cannot make the regular Thursday 7pm I wondered if we might find a second time to try and ride the same weeks stage together, ideally a time when those who can't do Thursday can get a chance, so probably best if anyone in that position suggests an alternative.

I suggested Saturday 5pm as it was not a week night and was earlier in the evening than the other ride, so it might suit those who struggle with Thursday better. A morning ride is also a possibility (I would prefer early evening, but I can usually make Thursday). If enough members agree a time, then it should be a goer!

Of course we would all then have the option of doing both rides!

If you need some help with that I would bemore than happy to suggest some rides fromthe BKool sote that I have been saving to my Favorites. Increasing your FTP is tha easy one though. Just stick to Bill's Mountain Goats group, it is perfect for that!

So basically ride mountains as much as possible to improve your ftp. Joined that group so ill keep an eye on it. I'm planning on doing 3 hour long tough climbs a week as well as commuting a long ride Sunday a few spin classes and 2 bootcamps a week basic fitness stuff and loads of core.

What rides you got in mind?

Nice easy session for tonight, Dipford Loop. No long climbs, no long descents, very little flat in fact just rolling hills.

It should take around 25-30 minutes not including warm-up or cool-down.

I'll aim to start warm-up at 7:00pm as usual, you have until 7:10pm approx. to join warm-up from Live tab.

Hope you can all make it ... :bicycle:
