Did the velodrome one today and......... god it is boring lol.

One good thing, RWGPS uploads the FIT file and puts it in your calender.

(RWGPS is going to be my main cycle log next year, if only i could plan a route then do it on BKool)

that seemed harder than the real thing , too many mince pies
ha ha looked at them velodrome ones and came straight back out
how come i can only export a fit file with no map info seems a pity
what is rwgps

It is harder than the "real thing" because there is no free wheeling.
I hope Bkool start working on better export / inport files.

RWGPS (Ride with GPS) is a free planning and ride log. It shows how many miles, dates etc etc, have a google to find it.

I've used the velodrome once, and I liked it. I wanted a flat ride so I could work on my cadence and try to maintain a steady power output, and that was the best way of doing it.
As for RWGPS, I've discovered that on routes where BikeHike doesn't give altitude data, RWGPS does .
To upload a route you haven't ridden outside from RWGPS to Bkool, create the route in RWGPS by clicking "PLAN" and then clicking on the map to define the route, export it to your computer as a gpx file and then create a profile in Bkool by browsing for that file and uploading it.

Tried it from "My Routes" page on RWGPS and downloaded the GPX Track and all went good.

Worked ok, but wont work from export to device, but now i know what page to go from all is good.

Cheers.

The problem of the Velodrome for me was that you are just a dot going round, lap after lap.

If i want to just do a flat route i will create a route on the Somerset Levels, then at least google earth has something to do.
