Tried it from "My Routes" page on RWGPS and downloaded the GPX Track and all went good.

Worked ok, but wont work from export to device, but now i know what page to go from all is good.

Cheers.
ive just tried that planning in a route on rwgps then save as gpx upload to bkool but it said there was no timeing data so i couldnt upload the session
just tried it on strava as well same thing strava say importing someone elses route they dont give you the extra information needed ie timeing , elevation etc.... unless as usuall im doing something wrong....

Damnation
You're not wrong. I am.
RWGPS files won't upload because there is no "time taken" data in the file.

Try doing the same thing in BikeHike. When you click on Save Route, you get options. One is to choose what type of file you want to save - gpx track is the one to go for.
You can also input an average speed. Choose something fairly realistic. From this, it works out how long the ride would take you, and saves it as part of the file. Then, when you upload to Bkool it should work.
As I said earlier, sometimes BikeHike doesn't give elevation data, but that's usually on rides in other countries. I haven't had a problem with routes from the UK.

[Thinks] Maybe if I copy a foreign route in RWGPS, save it as a gpx, load it into BikeHike and give it an average speed, then upload it to Bkool....
[disappears up own a$$e]

In RWGPS log in and plan your route as normal.

Save your route (called it what you like for now as this will change, i put VR on it so i know it is a route for Bkool) and make it private.

When the saved box appears click view your route

View your route

DO NOT EXPORT IT

At the top of the page, click on ROUTES

you now get your routes list with distance, location, elevation gain etc.

Click on the routes name, do not view it

below it you will see similar :-

Levels VR 30 mile
Export: (gpx track) - (tcx) - (kml)
Create dec 27, '13, 08:29am
Starts in:Mendip District, England, GB
Distance:31.6 mi
Elevation:+ 864 / - 862 ft
Max Grade

Click on "GPX TRAC" to download this

On BKOOL

go to sessions

Create profile

choose file - import. (find the file you just downloaded)

You then get "Imported File Summary"

You see a little map and some stats underneath. the name and notes are blank.

Fill in the name and description

at the bottom check "distance based ride"

then upload

you then get all the settings, alerts etc, change as required, set bots etc.

Then click save session.

It will then appear on your session to do.

In RWGPS log in ... [snip] .... Then click save session.

It will then appear on your session to do.
Yup, that works nicely.:highfive:
I think I went wrong by trying to upload it as a session, which requires time data.
Uploading it as a profile does not.

Another lesson learned

R

ah right , so far only the fit files have been highlighted the rest have been greyed out
You can upload to strava

Upload, then from file

Upload Your Activities
Works for multiple .tcx, .fit or .gpx files 25MB or smaller. Choose up to 25 files.

If you have any problems uploading your files, contact support@strava.com for help.

But although it will show up in your activity feed, it will not show altitude gained / lost.
