anyhow he'll be back at 11.40..

Bet the bloke is wondering wtf he took up this as an occupation....
he sounds like 'not again'

Jeez, that was heavy viewing..
Yon Grandfather clock for 4 quid?
you could do something with that...if I assume it doesn't work..
I thought some folk would be over that like a rash..
I couldn't take any more......

Last week was worse. Put that down to it being the start of the year.

Some of that stuff that never sold is brand new. I've been told it's stuff that's been returned as unwanted/undeliverable, still sealed.

Missed the Grandfather clock, I'll have a gander on something larger than this phone. (One of a number bought as an auction lot.)
The case of the clock would be worth the £4, easily. Noticed that conventional(old fashioned) clocks with hands and a face are going out of fashion as people are having trouble telling the time with them.

There must be some money in it for them to carry on.
You weren't tempted to bid and increase the price then?

See what you mean about that clock. It'd be fun getting on a bus with that.

Should have bid on Lot 355, but thought it had gone for more.

I'd struggle to carry it home in this cold weather..
You could do something interesting if the case isn't a nick...
I thought it would have made money

You'd have kept warm trying though.
Battery operated movement in place of the current one to have a working clock. If the mechanism couldn't be got working.
The only thing that seemed to make money was the one armed bandit. Ideal piggy bank material.

Good morning :cold:
Minus 6c earlier..
Lots of :cuppa: needed
Mrs M wants to head out....
Trousers today, methinks:laugh:
Owdo
Last cold day yesterday, should be warmer overall from today.
Cheap way of staying warm, and it confines the heat to a small area. So why not.
Will you be stood at the window, cuppa in hand, waving her off!
Always a good idea, whatever the weather. I think so at least.

I was out...
one of my beers needed replenishing...
GC visit for a wee stroll then to shops at Stirling..
so now back at the Towers with the ubiquitous :cuppa: (tea now)
debating going out tonight...looking like a stay at home...

Tea is the preferred option now..
Stock is fine...

Foodstuffs..
Decided I'm heading out later..
minus 3.1c just now....
By choice or other means...
You've been to the shops then.

Does that include the Monster Munch for the tornado...
Have fun, and remain an upright citizen at all times.
Warmer here at just the one below freezing, for now. What you have now is forecast for here during the night.
