Couldn't be a winter project for you, starting 'someday'. That you could then unveil, in all it's finished glory when the decent weather arrives.

So did this lot. They found the repairs were costing more than the machines were worth, so they gave the contract to the company that supplied them with the mowers.
Sounds like your mechanics were similar...

School holidays come round often enough don't they. Presume all school holidays are taken at the same time so far.
You have had all the background checks done on you. Your kitchen safety record, the radio checks, the, the....
How's she managed these last few years, without screaming out loud.

Think she forgets I am a trained Greenkeeper...
but as I keep saying I don't need Google when she is around, plus I get an opinion

Bosch push electric type thing...
mines was a bit showing its age so when i landscaped youngest Mhor's garden, I inherited newer model..
Does a good cut...
Mrs M earlier announced 'Epsom Salts' improves grass..
I spent 5 mins telling of how her mind has changed over the near 5 year since we moved here..
I got that look.....
Think she forgets I am a trained Greenkeeper...
but as I keep saying I don't need Google when she is around, plus I get an opinion

No workout when cutting the grass then.
When you say showing it's age, how old were it?
Up to your standards then.
Did she get this idea of Epsom Salts on the grass from yerself then.
Did you return the look. And did you escape unharmed...
Stand there chair in one hand, whip in the other, making the grass do what you want it to.
Can she play your latest playlist for you on demand though.

Nah, I dunno where she saw it..
No use trying as grass has slowed right down, maybe an autumn winter feed if anything....
I've an Alexa next to me and a Google downstairs, just tell them and they'll play...

Has she been watching these gardening programmes on't telly. They always seem to offer these little nuggets of advise. Normally when they're working in someone else's garden.
You reckon we'll get a winter!!

Gardening, places in the sun, tennis, soaps...
we never watch TV together....

Yeah, leaves are starting to fall locally so poor cooncil lads busy time.
Used to laugh as they sometimes bought in the latest amazing leaf picker upper which always turned out to be a heap of uselessness..
our lot bought in snowblowers (hand use) which were demonstrated in the summer months and were a waste of money...
I assume the bottles of whisky(or whatever) 'encouraged' the buying

Snow blowers! "Never snows enough for those" to be considered. Then we get the roads blocked due to snow, and they can't get out to clear them. Well organised our lot. Salesmen gone on holiday in winter.
Quite possible, though they never give "gifts" to get the deal.

First of playoff games early Sunday AM.....

You don't watch the soaps?
Only the one remote!

Leaves and trees are falling round here. Council lads appear to waiting for the trees to fall. Save the job of picking the leaves up.
Pavement sweepers used round here, on those paths wide enough.
Snow blowers! "Never snows enough for those" to be considered. Then we get the roads blocked due to snow, and they can't get out to clear them. Well organised our lot. Salesmen gone on holiday in winter.
Quite possible, though they never give "gifts" to get the deal.

spreaders for sand and salt a much better option and that was the time all the mushroom buildings for keeping the sand, salt mix dry began springing up.....
we used spreaders that we used for feeding bowling greens, as long as you had a dryish mix was much more efficient than spreading by hand but as usual, the obvious option was never clear to the halfwits in charge.....

They moved the salt pile to under a cast iron bridge here. Then due to various vehicles getting stuck/going sliding on the cobblestone entrance to the former station, they'd to move it. The bridge came second.
Now back to where it was for many years.
Pulled one of those spreaders at work. The van kept on sliding on the ice, so plain old leg power was used.
The obvious solution isn't always obvious to those in charge.

I remember when gritting main roads was standing on the back of a lorry shovelling the mix into a hopper of a spreader..
none of this different mix spread settings in a computer controlled comfy gritter..
the reversing up the steep hill outta town..
