It'll have no lasting effects on him that you're aware off. What with her version of twerking an' all that.
Rescue plant, would that be something akin to buying it because you felt sorry for it? Then realised you needed summat to put it in.
Built a potting table, and you're putting stuff in it! Aren't they where you do the work?
The begonias won't be the end of yer buying.

Rain for the last two hours here. Think we've left you're 3.5mm in the shade.
Don't you get odd looks watering yer plants at this time of night, or is undercover of darkness the best time?

Polluted his mind for years to come LOL
Cheapo not doing well ones are a challenge, well worth the efforts.
I don't do much potting and seedling work so it becomes an 'ornament' the rest of the time...
I'm gonna sow some pansy seed before it gets 'used'
Beag to organise for nursery, must fly..

You'll know who to blame if he starts trying to copy her.
And you like the challenge, or their cheapness?
Handy ornament though.
You canna eat pansies!!
Bit late getting him ready for the nursery weren't you. Nearest nursery to me starts around half seven.

His is 8.45 - 9 and it's a fair distance away..
Shock ! horror ! Mhor did three miles on his bike :bicycle:
Didn't want to push the Plantar to kick in again, I'll wait 24 hrs until it doesn't appear.. that is a start.
Some sod has been in Openstreetmap and undid my changes/updates to our estate, this happened once on updates I did on a hill once, a yank, a bloody yank undid all my changes, told me I was wrong, I had been to the summit the day before and used a GPS track for the path up and gave the hill its proper name (with its more known name in brackets)...
I'll log in later.
Pansies for tubs and autumn/ winter colour...
Larkspur planted out in trough today and some begonias (bought) in long tubs on potting table and our new mate flowerpot man....

Did you get him there in time?
Three miles, you're making a start. You'll soon be challenging Mo...
Tell him you've walked up that hill, he hasn't. So you'll know better than him.
Had he even been over this side o'pond to start correcting work.
Will you be having a go at whoever corrected your work?
Suppose we don't get a summer, how will you know it's winter. Barring it snows of course.
Bill, Ben & Weed?

Of course...
Busy morning, old way ? 8 to 10 mins longer depending on the lights (four way).
More a gentle start and concerned about this Plantar kicking in again, if okay, I'll build up the distance but enjoyed the short trip today.

There was something yonks ago about some hamshank editing stuff he didn't know about and made all sorts of unauthorised edits, I'll sign in tomorrow and have a nosey...I'll just do it again and corrected some of the spelling, new road has been put in so that'll save me.

Wx has been good since spring, I ain't complaining about it, a good, balanced mix of sunshine and showers will do.
Got my larkspurs planted out so pleased as they were brought on from seed..
Got a trip out tomorrow morning, the Holy Terror returns

This has to be funniest General Election ever...
what happened to the traditional socialist left v right wingers, the guaranteed winners are more likely to be further right than the party about to be annihilated, you couldn't make this up, plenty giggles ahead.

Someone was asking me if I'd ever been to North Yorkshire which I haven't....most scenic?

You were lucky. I mean what could be your reason for being late?
We've the majority of the main lights out in the town centre, replacing them with temporary lights and traffic reduced to one lane at every junction.

You got on yer bike, that's the main thing. How's yer rear feeling after so long off.

There's someone doing summat similar on local history, dates, people & places to match what he thinks is right. And once on Facebook it's "correct".

It's been middlin so far. Maybe warm up later in the year.
There can't be much space left in yer garden for anything else. You reckon they'll survive the summer, outside?
You need to show her who The Boss really is.

Its been headed that way for years now. They've little they can "offer you" so they show how little the others have to offer.
There's plenty of fun to come in the next few weeks though. You're right about that bit.

You've never been to Scenic North Yorkshire! Think of what you're missing.

My first thing after moving through here was to look at old maps, seek out local history etc etc,
still looking through the mining history occasionally...
a lot of accident history (reports)
life was cheap in those days...
I'll say no more...

Social media is a great thing but badly used by 90% of folk..
I avoid like the plague

48(47 years, 11 months, 3 weeks to go ( I could do hours, minutes if needed )not being the Boss, how can I change it now?
make life easier..

Brewery trip this morning, sadly no 'shop' at the end but produce readily available.....
Enjoyed it..

Lunchtime I think

Working brewery and they'd no samples for you! Did you get a partial refund at least?
As in giving you ideas...
That's mighty decent of you, letting her use the freezer on your fridge.

I'm still searching out local history for these parts. Mostly as new sources become available.
A few mines round these parts, owned by the Listers. Life were cheap back then, seam collapsed the just dug off in a different direction.

It's like anything else, used and abused.

The "Tornado" doesn't know that bit though. Remember you're bigger than she is.

Discounted prices hopefully.
Would you go again is the question that needs asking.

Nearly teatime!

It was a freebie,
one of the Friday night lads is the man who fixes everything when it breaks down....

The accident reports had more than a touch of bias..
illicit goods found in deceased pockets etc etc..
You see in the lost mine you tube videos how conditions must have been, these were mostly non coal mines though...
surprised a lot of those not concrete plugged at the entrances.
I read the report for this estate I'm in, the report says the nearest underground working is 300m away but hey, did they declare everything?
a return trip?
once seen is enough..
a mish mash(groan) of strange smells

A freebie in a brewery!
How'd you manage to get round without temptation kicking in?
Was he the one showing you round, or were you a "tagalong".

Not found any accident reports for those near me. Other than a brief description, and the work done to get round where the collapse was.
There were a mix of opencast and shafts dug into the hillside. Think most, to the NE, have had the entrance collapsed to prevent livestock wandering in.

Council allowed planning permission for new houses on top of old mine workings, the main shaft simply plugged at the top. Houses were leaning before they finished building. Four were fenced off, safety reasons, but later sold.
Went to the pit head hut as kid, having a nosey round. All the good stuff had long gone.

Only mine I ever visited (at last place)
was a barytes mine, the old buildings were there (1980s) but I'd headed out years later and nothing, all razed and all sorts of health and safety fences etc.
This area and its environs is polluted with old coal workings, I haven't searched many (not that many) out but no sign of any entrances etc, I assume concreted up(bricked) and covered with soil or whatever.
Sadly most of the info is accident reports.
