We had one dollop of hailstones, a brief flurry of yohoho but a pleasant day altogether..

When you look back and ask yourself did I really do that! Questioning yer sanity at the time.
The pick and shovel days are long gone now though.
You were young, once...

Did it float?

I prescribe an extra day of complete rest. It might happen, it might not.
That were nice of him, did you get any.
Bad cake?

On the left leg, we were on (an outside)sky climber working with the grout men who were pumping grout through, it started to blow up and we had to tie the sky climber and us to the leg holding the crane just below the top of the tower.
It was an uncomfortable couple of hours...
glad to finally feel solid ground..
and went back up in the afternoon

It didn't really matter as kinda hard solid concrete was the landing material..

Ordered paint from yon orange sign big company as they had a good deal on emulsion....
First batch delivered to store was a disaster (cans leaking, dented etc)so instead of 3 x 5 ltr cans we got 6 x 2.5 ltr cans..
I made a further order for another 15 ltrs last night..
next day pick up.....
I get text and email at 7.55 am this morning saying 'in store' so we leave and head over (we were going elsewhere) and as we left here another text comes in and says order collected.....
whit?
we arrive, m anager gets called and there was no problem with his explanation, so we'll be back
not long ago, I missed a call, one ring then nothing.
a text comes in THEN another saying order collected..
I give them a call, apparently the texts were for yesterdays order..
and our order awaits..
Mrs M on her way..
Hopefully our painter needs it all LOL..
he did say 20 would do but Mrs M may want more done but if not we can return unused..
almost as bad as the time we ordered a whole kitchen from them, we eventually got it twice....
the palaver trying to get them to take it back?

apart from that,
coffee in garden centre with a cherry scone, lovely

then we did some garden tidying,
old stuff dumped at skips site..
time to get some seeds going (next week)
