I've been using the orange supermarket own brand since moving here.
Today I try someone else's.
Not sure yet....

Windy woo overnight...
Usual subjects blown over...
Chaos reported everywhere..
more until almost the 25th, gonna be a long few days..

Sleepover on a Sunday is Beag..
much easier to look after:laugh:
Toast n jam and Rubble & Crew, sorted
The milk has been ruled out then.
Suppose they're all the same, will you give up yer porridge!
Nor do I...

Very little damage visible from the house, even wheelie bins stayed put. Not much moving on the roads though, which is never a good sign.
Gusts of 36mph measured here last night.
You having more beans on toast while you sort out your oats crisis.

The Young 'Un stayed overnight, not Toodles. Wonder which were worst last night, his home base or yours.
Plonk him down in front of the telly, with the remote in your hands. He'll be feeding himself now. Once it's left down in front of him.

Mrs M prepared and it is different oats..
another supermarket essential oats to try....
will finish what's left first...

I'd imagine his home base as in the higher part of his town, another 250 ft ASL on to ours.. it seems more.
Owdo
Not too bad. Sun is shining, pavements are dry now, but that wind still blows...

Trip to Stirling and negligible if any damage evident.
Cracking day out, showers are of monsoon proportion when wet.
Wind gusts to 50 due...
we always found more damage in the next set of winds as first set weakens the object (trees for example) and second blast can do for them
Time for another :cuppa:
Had a treacle scone earlier, sublime....

No chance of them being "free" oats. Free from this, that, t'other?
Why waste them indeed.

And his sleepover just coincided with the bad weather. It might be a sign. Bad weather and yer oats have gone funny!
You'll have guaged it by walking part of the way, then checking how high you'd climbed.

Much the same round here, very little damage. A fair bit of preventative work going on now though, just in case.
Anything worthwhile in Stirling?

Treacle scone! How'd you wing that one?

A 'garden centre' coffee day, not used up this months one yet,
the other tomorrow with a two for one brekkie voucher..
sublime.
Haven't seen treacle ones there before..
so nice. I might even make some at some point..
I'm cheffed out,
made a Beef Bogginknees earlier,
half the wine to the dish and half to us....

Some serious damage in places nearby sadly.
Jocelyn about to visit us but promises of not a strong winds, believe that if you like, dunno if the
weatherman is channelling his inner Fish thoughts...

got 2023 highs and lows WX wise sorted today..
the years back may be fun compiling....

Obviously a bit sheltered from some directions...
couple of typos to fix...

Do you visit these garden centres or just their café's?
Don't let it slip, there's not much o'month left!
Will yours be as good as the ones at the garden centre though.

Enjoy yer Beef Bogginknees, safe and dry. All the wine to yourselves then.
They're forecasting 80-90mph winds for west and central Scotland down here.
We only have 45mph gusts forecast, so we're getting off light compared to some places. Interesting reading, March the 9th was the night we got snow down here, causing chaos as it wasn't forecast
We got off light last night compared to some areas nearby.

How'd last year compare to the previous year. This summer is set to be warmer, but shorter than last years. We'll see if they're right at the end.

Ah well, the start of another storm is less than half a day away. Wonder if the forecasts are anywhere near right this time.

Damp and grey outside.

I've got '22 done, not so easy accessible information..
I replace a failing WX station esp in the rain counting dept, it was obvious it was goosed...
latest station has extra modes so 22 and backward won't be as detailed .
I'll get 21 and maybe 20 done tomorrow.
I upload to two other websites (since Aug 22) and it helps....

Out for food and coffee..
Spent a a LOT of time late last night trying to get a program up and running, it's talking to my computer but I am not having much luck with it to talk to my WX station..
I'll have another try today

You'll still have minimum and maximum temperatures though?
And when.
You feeding into any local forecasts. Can picture you now giving a detailed forecast for the local area.

This morning?
That'll be why you were quiet. Thought you'd come down with some lurgy or other illness, like the droot had hit hard.
Talking to yer weather station! They'll be talking about yer...
