Nothing from the Perseid's!
Most of that, aerials excluded, will be all be done on computer now I suppose. No need to have a seperate Radio Room, with the seperate sets on one wall.
In ways I'm sorry I didn't get my own setup years ago. Would I still be in to it now?

When I said you were going looking for yer spot, I were thinking more of being chauffeured there. Deck chairs aren't too easy carry on a bike.

I'd want the actual radio sets, physical knobs and dials. They'd be smaller than the ones I'd seen used, but knobs and dials at least.
You didn't get to Crow Road to watch it.
You think "Da Boss" is still as enthusiastic as when watching it live on the road. I see a bike purchase coming, possibly a tandem...

We'd a good morning /early afternoon..
took the wee fella to the RSPB place at Loch Leven.
Saw an osprey, lots of swallows and woodland birds.
Did a dinosaur hunt over the site which was right up the wee fellas street..
Enjoyable day..
Left bending his mum's ear about it
oh, and they do bat night walks....

Was updating a file in my electronic logbook..
and noted I've had 4,966 contacts this year...
I think I should cut down

We were getting over 3/4" an hour, last night. With over an inch an hour early yesterday afternoon.
That's not been touched up in any way has it? Seen similar at either end of the day a few times, never during the day.
Note the white walls, almost "too white", not a good sign, weather wise. Whatever the weather men say.

Getting decked, give as good as you get!
Anything in mind as to what you'll do next?
