Always handy to have something to mark it against. £10 a can at a local venue tonight. The way I sometime work it out is beer prices, example I earned 22 quids in 1970..
pint was 1/10d so 10 pints approx to the 1 quid.....
haven't clue of the cost of a pub pint night...
to put it in perspective..
I DJ'ed early to mid 70s and got 2 quid a night for a 7 to 10pm (mon-sat), moved to THAT place I met Mrs M and got a fiver for 7 to 11, I'd hit the big time....got offered to do a monthly one at local theatre but it never came off at 20 quids...wow even got a crisp 20 note as goodwill sign on fee I moved back to the bad lands of Spam Island from the fading seaside resort within weeks but would still have made sure I'd have been there.
Radio One is glad they missed me..
Off to do my domestics to my Rollers playlist.
Cost, not worth thinking about, unless you'll not be paying.
Bob Th DJ, is there no end to yer talents?
You framed that £20 note, and still have it?
Don't know, going by the fact that they now require two, sometimes more, presenters. Paying for one would be cheaper. You can't possibly do worse.
Smart speaker or vinyl?
