........but it's not Friday!

Funnily even in my so called non-denominational school....
we got fish on a Friday and I loved it..
slightly soggy with chips..
I loved school meals except sago, semolina and tapioca..
you couldn't beat the custard and a big bit of duff in the plate...
kids nowadays don't know they've lived..

Early donder with a couple of miles gentle jog thrown in for me. We have rain forecast late morning/lunchtime. Seems to be the pattern this week. Dry start and rain later. I don't mind as long as I can get a few hours in.
All low level stuff, and not via the local distillery?

Do-gooders want to increase the alcohol unit price to 65p oop here..
I hate these bums....
Think I'd give up at that price...
It wouldn't be so bad if it was a tax but the shops get the extra income....
the news blurb said all the usual s*** then a smile and retailers noticed no difference..
Bob is bealing to say the least..
Rant isn't stopping:cuppa:
And if you want it, you just help yourself and don't bother paying for it. Keep yer money for summat else.
What's the unit they're using for the pricing? A pint of whisky can do more than a pint of stella/Foster's. 64p a pint isn't too bad, almost late 70's price.
Thought it was a "tax" not free money for selling something. No wonder the shops want to increase the price.
Have you thought about home brewing. Order all your kit from south of the border, avoiding any extra cost they might feel they want to stick on.
I've only got the one bum!

Rant away

'grazing' its called apparently..
watched some hippy doing it in a supermarket in Fort Bill..
told him I'd place the beer can somewhere the sun don't shine if he didn't go pay for it..
took off..
hate anything like that...

Just now its 50p per unit.
Example Aldi cheap cider..
£2.40 for 4 cans,
up here ? £3.96..

These folk should be tar and feathered..
90% plus don't abuse it..
why should we suffer..

Murky looking skies to the S as my fish delivery appeared...
clouds scuttling much faster than any bushes etc here so may be windier out in the real world than it seems....
the WX station I use to check at the canal is offline so not so handy....
oh well.....
Clearing here, for the time being...
These fish yer expecting, they coming via the canal or a shop?
Nearly always windier higher up.
Where'd your weather station go, or did it just downed tools one day.

Vans from Fife travel all over Scotland to flog fish...

Won't Mrs Mhor mind you ordering and getting a lady delivered by parcel post?
This mail order bride business must be booming...

Garden centre on Polly, with yer driver picking up yer larger purchases. Two birds, one stone and all that. Leaves you free to carry on after.
Still as reliable as sticking yer head out the window, having opened it first?

You making silly faces during the call and the wind changed direction?

Had a fruit and veg van started street selling in 19, not seen it these last three years. Delivered shopping for some who couldn't get out in 2020.

Some say I went years ago.
Have fun...
