'grazing' its called apparently..
watched some hippy doing it in a supermarket in Fort Bill..
told him I'd place the beer can somewhere the sun don't shine if he didn't go pay for it..
took off..
hate anything like that...

Just now its 50p per unit.
Example Aldi cheap cider..
£2.40 for 4 cans,
up here ? £3.96..

These folk should be tar and feathered..
90% plus don't abuse it..
why should we suffer..
Theft is the name we use.
A can, they don't bother with just a can. They take the whole box in most cases.

Don't you have Aldi north o'border. They say they'll match their other stores prices down here.

The majority suffer because a minority abuse the system. I'd say the time is right for a peasants revolt. You up to being a modern day Watt Tyler!

Won't Mrs Mhor mind you ordering and getting a lady delivered by parcel post?
This mail order bride business must be booming...

Garden centre on Polly, with yer driver picking up yer larger purchases. Two birds, one stone and all that. Leaves you free to carry on after.
Still as reliable as sticking yer head out the window, having opened it first?

You making silly faces during the call and the wind changed direction?

Had a fruit and veg van started street selling in 19, not seen it these last three years. Delivered shopping for some who couldn't get out in 2020.

Some say I went years ago.
Have fun...

Baba and mum ended up here..
handy as wall cabinet built up now ready for tomorrow..

Got a run around the local paths and country roads, not much but a 14 will do me...
One light shower which fair cooled me down....
had porridge as fuel before I headed out.

Two of the five cherries on tree

Guess I better cut the grass (tomorrow if dry)

Funnily if I order booze from darn sarff, I get it at darn sarff prices..
as a doctor said that if they raise the minimum unit price, folk will turn to spirits (tax keep the price high)..
It really is a pointless exercise....
I can see why but why trail folk who just like an occasional glass...

I saw the argument that it saved 150 lives (est) last year..
two things causing deaths..
tobacco and drink..
tobacco users got stigmatised as it was not trendy to smoke but hey, everybody enjoys a drink, right?..
it should be your choice...
ach, I don't care as I am going to enjoy myself anyway..
my days aren't going to be miserable..
sadly I used to make home made beer and jeez, a barrel didn't last long..

You been pulling faces?
Tomorrow, what's wrong wit today!
Fancy going dahn that there London and doing the same?

We'll pay you for it. Last one who tried got caught, so we're looking further north this time.
On't bike 'd have been easier, but a 14 mile run isn't shabby. You'll be up there with the likes of Mo & co in no time...

About an hour of light rain, not long since stopped.
Was the porridge wise...

Where's the remainder?

Order it all from down here. They don't want yer money, there's plenty down here that'll take it from you.(The further south, the more folk will only be to happy to take it from you!)

Last price rise down here, there were more just helping themselves. Police won't come out just for booze, and they know it.
They say fast food isn't healthy either, tea is better than coffee, for now.
158 out of how many though. No answer to that one.
You enjoy yerssen while yer still can. Prohibition 'll start the end of the year...
No time spare to get back making it.

You should just take it easy after the porridge. Slow burning fuel for that last minute dash home as the rain arrives.

Hire a transit van and do yer trips once or twice a year. One in the run-up to the years end.
Wait until some "bright spark" suggests a unit price for coffee. You'll be in trouble then.

Good morning:hello:
Garden duties today.....
rain due later (11am) plus shed roof to be looked at for slight leak..
Sweet peas and strawbs about to be picked...
well enough for a strawb tart (not the sweet peas)..
other heavy stuff may get done...

Two hours, just over to across the border..
180 miles so at max four galls petrol..
so anything over 64 cans of cider will clear the petrol:laugh:
Maybe I should cut back..
and just get banana milkshakes instead:becool:
Milkshake tastes like yon sweetie bananas you got ( probably still do)
wonder what a coffee milkshake would taste?
can't even try an iced coffee as it sounds yeugh.....

anyhoo off to get busy

Owdo up there
Throwing a few more pebbles here n'there? Picking your last two cherries?
It'll not come at 11. They can't get the day right at present, how'll they manage a time.
Handy that they say there's rain due, it'll help you find any leak.
Wonder if you could make a sweet pea tart, and what it'd taste like.
Don't go all out at the start, pace yerssen.

You could "borrow or acquire" the diesel, instant saving there.
64 cans, at one a day, is just over two months worth. Maybe the one trip each year, not two.
Is it warm enough for you to grow yer own bananas near you. Not fond of overly sweet bananas. Always just short of going rotten.
Try your coffee idea and report back.
You're sounding more like that Trump fella, what with iced tea as well.

Big Don and I have something in common...
Scottish mums (f'all else, please note)
Banana has always been my fave fruit, sadly now I have to leave them until brown spots appear as they literally go sugar mad...
Remember those two cherries from yesterday?
gone.. tangy as expected as cooking cherries (I wanted pies)

Still three cherries.
rain appeared a wee bit early..
but sunny now.

'office/shack' all perfumey and nice smelling.....
did a power in garden,
two joining strips on roof but substantial enough but I'll bitumen paint them and keep an eye and if not stopped I'll cover the roof.
Grass got a bit wet so maybe later if it dries out I'll get busy.

Do you want to have something in common with him?
Buy them green, they'll last a bit longer, when I can get them. Now it's all bright yellow and gone to how you like them in no time whatsover. Waste o'money at that stage.
You ate them!

Three out of the five left?
Said they couldn't get it right. Trying here now, could go either way.

What you trying to hide.
Wasn't it reroofed not so long ago, by yerssen..
Grass remains uncut...
