we have a bit at the back door where we can do all that, sun sweeps round the back after 11ish (must check)..
Mrs M likes her sun traps....

We dissolved the 'business' yesterday:cuppa:
'elp the aged might have something to say at the age of our employees..
the youngest becomes a pensioner next week and the boss, a BIG birthday in 12 weeks:ohmy:

Think I have the solution to the chips left...
just spread on what is down and rake them down once the rest of the grass area gets 'stoned'...
I'll need to save for that amount of stones...
and involve the family for that....
No rush, wait while the sun gets round that way, then check.
Are you allowed to use it, unsupervised?

That's a shame, there's me thinking of printing out Bob the Builder business cards, "Get Mhor for yer money when you hire us".
You never know, they might have hired you!
They grow up so quick these days. Seems like only last week you were pulling faced at her.
You'll have present and card bought and hidden away somewhere safe.

Let things settle down, then fill any holes. Good thinking, and it saves you from having to worry about buying more.
They'll pitch in with the work as well, won't they?

See, you're starting to regret winding the "business" up already...

She were wheeling the barrow, not you!
And you've not even finished putting them down yet.
You took me straight back to when I did "office duty" at school. Metalwork teacher tearing into a class of fifth dormers who didn't do too well on half the mock exam questions. What does CWT stand for? being one of them. And he's asking one after the other, before asking "anyone in the class know what it is?" I put my hand up.
The perch, rod...
All but gone in the early 70's, or so they thought.
I blame Napoleon, missen.

I did the barrow, spreading and all the preparatory work..
the real Boss did the loading.. and the liquid intake breaks...
we had to as we were charging pre 70s rates 3/11½d...
not much profit or wages then plus there was mates rates so we made and earned nothing..
one offspring is an accountant, not ours though
oh well BUT it was the OLD standards we did the job to.

I try hard to use the metric system....

no beer...

Baseball soon

She were keeping tabs on how much you'd already taken round?
Keeping you watered, whilst at the same time making certain there were no slacking.
That'll have been per hour, for two working. With the boss getting more than the foreman, who got more than the workers.
Fed and watered, that were main thing though.
I'd up the "mates rates" next time if I were you.

Get him in, see where you went wrong. For the next time you do summat like this.

I don't really bother with the metric system. I want a 1/8th bit, it's what I ask for.

No beer! Disaster...
You'll never get to the shop and back before the game starts. I'd blame the quartermaster if I were you.

Feeling flush and ready to hit the shops with yer payrise?
Good or bad pint, or was it because the first one that you remember the price.
Done and dusted. What's the pitching clock for?
Yankee's "your team" then.
Have you seen the price of tonic water these days!

Similar trend, here on early pubs I drank in. Closed, converted or simply no longer there.
Pie and beans!
You'd be run out of town asking for that round these parts.

There's others opened to take some of those that drank in the ones now gone. But they could be gone next month themselves.

Each to their own I suppose.
Mince pies a No?
Well, there be Lancashire, they have odd ways there. Possibly even do you pie with beans without batting an eyelid.
