Enjoyed the copter flight...

Launches were all into deep water as the channel ran close to shore, nearest deep water port to NA...
Ships then headed to nearby dock to get fitted out, the dock was my playground as a nipper.

and then there was the banana boats..but I mentioned that before...

Even blindfolded?

Deep enough to go swimming?
Decent playground then.

You ever get a trip on one of those boats.

Nah, been on all the Clyde steamers though..
in the 60s and 70s, lots of opportunities...
now lucky if the boats work..

flashed wrong board last night now it won't connect after reflashing..
router problem but not playing around with it..

Nah, been on all the Clyde steamers though..
in the 60s and 70s, lots of opportunities...
now lucky if the boats work..

router problem but not playing around with it..

And yet you still managed to get back.
Any Clyde Puffers still operating, or worth visiting?
Same with most things that were done on this island, now done elsewhere and the local history being eradicated.

What were you hoping to get it to do better?

they really got grounded for scrap after the American Navy left the Holy Loch as they had the contract to move all their rubbish..
you'd have thought it was an US crew going by the gear they wore

Might be one doing trips..
I not long finished last of the puffer men which was interesting,
tough life.....
not much different from Para Handy...

In other news, the worlds cycling main event passing through oor wee toon..
passes by only 5/10 mins walk away..
must look and see where was can catch it elsewhere en route

Been doing a project decoding cubesats..
12 months now?
Got another board yesterday from the east,
badly damaged battery casing but main board looked okay...
I tried to flash board but flashed another I had attached to computer instead, I had chosen the wrong com port..
oh doddles.....
Long story but my VM router wasn't having my trying to access the board through it..
so I headed out (whit) just up the road and flashed the board with all the relevant info..
headed back and parked up and voila !!! flashed (the original one)..
working as normal......
did the same again with the damaged one, arrived back and nope, wasn't getting my wifi to enable it..
I did *****96 instead of *****69 oops
I'll try again.

I don't fancy messing around with routers as I know bog all about them...

Got another board yesterday from the east,

oh doddles.....

Was "oh doddles" the words uttered at the time. More restrained than I'd be, if they were me that had done similar.

I could have just switched off the router but too much working at same time..
normally within a minute or two things get back to speed but jeez, it was about ten today but all going now.
three flashed and back to normal, I have to update the others so a quiet moment tomorrow,
they all do the same thing, the broken one is working okay....
I could solder the battery connections back on but the 24/7 is running off an USB port...
anyhow been a long day and the dentist awaits late am...

Maybe you overlooked some small piece that would allow you to understand (decode) what you intercepted.
Could be a large monetary exchange, with account details!

I updated firmware on the other two and thought I'd run the 'battery containerless' one as they run off the computer...
I did say I received it with some damage but so far a dingy...
It works, it'll do.

Not long now 'till I see Mr I. Pullem....
