The turkey is being scoffed to the NE..
Our guests supply the bird....
we had Sainsburys finest chicken:laugh:

It's white outside, not sure if it's sleet or a light dusting..
warm inside, cold outside...
I'm staying warm...

Forgot 'Detectorists' was on,
just saw it in time.........
Maybe they'll have saved some for you.
You nip out at the last moment, or did you have it in reserve.

I'd say it's cold, not snow. Only one way to be sure...
Not even going to the door?

Any good, and what made you remember it.

You got snow, s'not fair.

Big fluffy flakes you can make decent snowballs from?
You'll have been out to investigate.
The odd car is passing and it must be ice underneath but they do seem to be moving a bit fast for the conditions
They're bigger than chickens, how'd you miss them?
Dry compared to chicken. Especially the second time round.
Rubbing it in, we'd clear skies late last night/early hours and got none.
I've always preferred chickens
esp these cook in the bag ones..

Clear skies? pfft..
SNOW buddy, we had SNOW...
no much just more than an icing sugar bag burst ..

They drive on the same roads wet or dry, what difference can a little snow make to how they should drive. We'd the remains of one that went off-road over the weekend removed this morning.

Cook in the bag, not the oven!
How much do these cost?

They're forecasting "deep snow overnight" for tonight. Might just see it sticking for a few hours. The forecasts are getting too London like up here now.
Not enough for a snowball fight then?

Slushy stuff still lying, had rain as forecast but no deluges to remove everything..
Cook in the bag in the oven, pedant.
Temps to rise around midnight.

I better go see if it's TV or YouTube tonight.
I think I heard someone about to spend money....
I better go empty my pockets and check down the back of the sofa, 5p a plastic bottle recycled down Sainsburys....

Similar down here precipitation wise, for now. Can't see temperature increasing today.
Well there's self heating coffee, beans that cook in the can to give but two examples. Thought the chicken was along similar lines.

YouTube methinks, there's more choice.
Don't forget under the mattress! Or has that already gone.
5p a bottle, is that the same regardless of size? Might stop giving mine to the "recycling company" in their weekly collections if the local Saintsbury's start that scheme.

Our local Sainsbury's has machines that accept glass and plastic bottles but not all, drink cans, coke size and beer cans all 5p comes out in the form of a voucher to use in the shop, pays for something.
we use 500ml water from the island freezer shop (10% off for auld yins Tuesdays) and get 5p back on each bottle so could buy us sticky buns:laugh:

Forgot this was AU night on Discovery, Gold Rush White Water two episode night so sorted.. best prog on't telly (I have it on record in case )

It doesn't take the larger bottles then. Not fair!
I'll keep my eyes on the one local to me, just in case. Vouchers could send the staff nuts, especially if they're only 5p a time. Save them up and go in with a hundred or two. Should get a few sticky buns, or chocolate bar, cake...

Won't tell you how it ends, just in case it's the Alaska one.

Management is in charge of recycling, I dunno what size they take..
I just empty the containers:laugh:
We get just over a couple of quid per week..
not much but hey.
We have a recycling thing coming in up here this year,
can't remember what it is but it is all about plastic recycling...
I remember doing it in Holland,
taking (bigger) plastic bottles back and getting 20 something back for each..

Good morning:hello:
Having an early:cuppa:

No snow, all gone almost a balmy 7c..
Owdo
It's early even for you. You weren't woken from yer slumber, told to get dressed and be outside, ready to go in ten minutes.
It never ends well for the person woken up. I've seen it on the telly.

No snow, no snowballs!

Think yer standard beer bottle size, against yer old pop bottles (glass) size.
A couple of quid a week, at 5p a bottle. You drink more than me.

No recycling round these parts, bar metals. The rest just gets incinerated.

I'll keep my eye on the local Saintsbury's though.
