You can make a snowman if they were right about the snow.

That yer last chilly hilly willy walk of the year, or have you more planned.

I walk pretty much every day unless the weather is really atrocious. I get a bit stir crazy indoors if I don’t.

Cabin fever. There's a fair bit of that going round. You got yer telly to help keep your grip on reality though. Murders, in places that have more murders than residents. And yet the population never seems to diminish. People vanishing, the everyday things that happen.

Spent yesterday inside, and it'll be the same today. Don't plan on getting wet again.

I’ve got back into my reading. Crime fiction stuff so that is keeping me amused. It’s easy to lose several hours engrossed in a good story.

I’ll let you know as I am about to venture out for a leg stretch. Looks a bit sparkly.

Hope you had a good day yesterday. It’s usually good if you have family….not so much if you just have a cat 🐱

Go back through the thread and see who my table guests were yesterday..
we saw none of the family due to all sorts of lurgy going on, one Covid unfortunately..

A happy Saint Stephens Day to yer.

Did you get rid of the alcohol?

Damp, with alternating sunshine and showers here. Rain from the North.
It's not that bad, once yer out in it, just the getting out to do.
Try it...

I've lots of booze..
no guests, so it's now all mine:cuppa:
A mixed feelings day so far..
could have headed out but roads may not be the best although Mrs M had been out earlier.

You'll have to save some for Saturday - Sunday. Don't drink it all, yet.
Read that as "mixed peelings day" and wondered why you'd devices to take up baking.
The pair of you should have gone for a stroll. If Mo was right, you could be stuck for a few more days yet.

Chicken (cold), ham, fried spuds...
Trifle is Mrs M made, her speciality...
forget the custard..

4.6 mm of rain but forecast threatening,
sleet showers and icy yellow warning....

No turkey (cold) or fried sprouts?
Fair enough, forgo the custard.

We're ahead of you on the rain front, we've no yellow weather warnings though.
