It's a 300 foot(not metre) drop on the side opposite the path.I get vertigo looking at that.

easy route sometimes the best option, headed back down via the Llanberis path to avoid parking the car at the top of the pass, £20 fee..
Pretty peed off as the Tour of Britain stage was just finishing below us as we descended down towards Llanberis, as bad weather the previous day had thrown a spanner in our plans...
