I know of the Great Gable service which would be a bit of a haul in cold autumnal weather and it is well attended.
It is good that later generations remember and appreciate the sacrifice that those young folk made over 100 years ago.
I've read more than enough of the why, the whats and the ifs of the First World War but today and here is not the place to discuss it.
Today is 'Lest we forget'.
