Yep. I wandered twice round the trail this morning and it came on half way round the second loop so I got a bit wet. Still enjoyed it though.

No gigs tonight, remembrance service at St Michael de Rupe, on top of the crag at Brentor.

Loads of them: the place was rammed. It helped that I could ride to the hall and back so I had a bit of down time.

There was much comment about how many members were playing at state and federal level, with the odd nod toward the local government rep that it's great the town has agreed to build a new sports hall and could they make sure it happens quickly?

I guess that shows that nothing is impossible with drive, commitment, and large amounts of cash.

I'm sure I could make models of a quality that I could tour them nationally if the local gov. financed a workshop. Maybe I could lobby for that.

At the very least I wish they'd put a tenth of the money the throw at sports into decent cycle infrastructure...
