A tempting thought, but there's bikes to build with Elder Son, and stories to be read to Beautiful Daughter, and also models to be finished and spoons to carve... I doubt I'd have the time...

I'm convinced tree roots come out at night and go away in the day. See also: Paving slabs, Christmas tree stands, folded chairs, horizontal broomsticks, clothes hangers, vacum cleaners, electrical cables, and coal scuttles. These are in a conspiracy to destroy mankind and move in a coordinated attempts to kill us one at a time.

You just add the waste from your spoon carving, using it to get the fire started maybe. Adding the odd tree root as you go.
