Morning. We had a strange night. Spectacular lightning and thunder for an hour and the wind picked up, then died back down as suddenly as it started. The real winds are due within the next couple of hours but not bad yet. Might risk a quick wander before it arrives.

Weather report continues to threaten torrential rain, hail, lightning and a general apocalypse. At some unspecified point.

Seems weird waiting for it as it looks quite nice from you picture. Lull before the storm sort of stuff

1/3 of an inch of rain has fallen in 90 mins
at least it will wash the dust off the streets

Bleedin windy here, but the heavy rain is forecast tomorrow.
Forecast even stronger wind by early afternoon.
Don't think I will bother going out for a ride in that today
