There"s nearly a pint left in the filling hoses at petrol stations.

But, there's the noise they make to think about.

I think the sight of you in your cloak skulking round petrol pumps would set alarm bells ringing

You won't like me for this but...

I went for the ride. Just a short one locally, about an hour, although rather more of that was taking pictures than I'd care to admit.

Totes!

I have noticed the leaves round here also.
Also noticed quite a few coming down whilst working. Leaf fall season in the railway is not a nice time. Driving is not the nicest experience during the season.
Hopefully they'll be the right kind of leaves!:okay:

Partial result of a minor problem a week ago. From just above the elbow to under the armpit. Following hitting the pavement only.

Fairly flat round Stuttgart?
Hills/mountains in the distance?

Quite hilly: Stuttgart is about 12km away and 200m lower than us, and is the only city in Germany to have a rack railway.

We're about 400m above sea level and the hills in the distance are approaching 600m high. the road in front of the bike drops into a valley about 50m down, and the modern white building just visible on the right in the distance is already the other side of it.

I planned my route to avoid the valleys, but if I ride tomorrow I'll probably follow one that takes me towards those hills in the distance. I'll take pictures...
