6.00......pulled back the curtains to enjoy the sunrise over the wood behind us. Observed two mallards swimming on my pond, and a pregnant rat eating nuts that the woodpecker was chucking off the bird-feeder. Just another day in the countryside. At least there were no muntjac in the garden.
