I catch the odd non league game on't telly, good honest rough and tumble fare

Local team doing well, reformed as a bit of a phoenix club after some greedy b#####d tried to sell the ground off for a profit.
As you say good old rough and tumble, plenty of tackles that would probably be bookings in the Premier League. The players just carry on plus also you can have a chat with them and the club officials in the bar afterwards.
They also know you and say hello and have a chat, none of this park the £80k motor in the fenced off compound and ignore the people that pay their wages.
Used to flit between the non league and big leagues years ago till the fall out with the non league team.
Great fun, loads of folk down there that have had enough of the millionaires league

Dunno if you read much but Chris Humphries book 'Where's my caravan?' is a cracking read.
If I'm out on a Saturday, I take in either grassroots rugby or any football I come across, my pal in Belfast does work for his local club, life's all turnstiles, painting etc for him. He was another who thought it's just a money grab nowadays
