Many moons ago,
pre little Mhors,
I used to get dropped off at midnight and early AMs to head up the local hills,
Mrs Mhor says one night
'aren't you scared of meeting anything or anyone up there'

'No idiot wanders the hills during the night' , woman I replied
Facepalm for Bob...

I have met territorials on exercise, army cadets amongst others..
One hill I have a yearly trip to is on the edge of the an exercise area where there is a Swiss type house and they use live ammo allegedly..
If a red flag is flying they are under war footing..
freaky hearing guns go off.

Cracking hill..
I can see it out the window...
It's freakily a strange place..
Beinn a'Mhanaich translates from the Gaelic as 'Hill of the monk'
there is a rectangular 'altar' stone just below the summit..
the hill i had to come off in the dark last year

Morning all.
I had a nice ride last night - about 13 miles.
Tai Chi this morning and then out to collect a table and chairs for the garden.
I shall then be sitting in the garden (probably cleaning the hybrid again lol).

Tonight it's the intermediate Belles ride. Tomorrow I'm off on the bike for a wander, complete with sandwiches etc
I'll probably go up to the Wheel and sit up there for a while
I LOVE these days!

Great weather for it just now

Gorgeous! I hate being indoors on days like this....so the laundry is done and ready to hang out, the houseworks sorted....leaving me time to clean my bikes, ride my bikes and sit in the garden and chill

Thankfully I have a catch-up day today - no meetings!! The caveat to that of course is I am in meetings all day tomorrow and at event all day Friday, though I did put myself forward for that one.

Good thing about riding in is I can stuff my face all day without feelings of guilt

Enjoy your 2 days on the bike - sounds brill! I did have a long sleeve on this morning as it was a bit cool at 06:56, though it will be SS all the way home regardless!
