Just popped to a carvery for lunch. Needed to have a chat with Hubster. I cannot believe how dry the turkey was. I know that it's not a particularly inviting meat but they must do something special to dry it out that much. I asked how it was cooked and was a tumble dryer involved at all but waitress woman said that it was just roasted. I asked if it was then left in a dehumidifying cupboard for a week? Apparently not.
I didn't eat it. My lunch consisted of a serving spoon of quite nice cabbage and a serving spoon of quite nice cauliflower. Bloody starving so I've had a Hot cross bun bar. Not the meal out that I was hoping for. Crown Carvery at Little Melton, in case anyone is heading there for dry food any time soon.
