to report on the outside ambient temperature so I know which and how many layers to don.

Lol............Mo's just finishing her coffee before heading out. My latest weather station readings say 7 degrees with a light breeze so quite pleasant, with the wind to pick up a bit later.

Will walk first, have brekkie, wait till the schools go in then maybe tootle over to Dads and see if he needs a wee bit of help in his garden for an hour or so.

Morning Mo
Morning. Hope @Turdus philomelos has put enough on. Just back a quick walk and that breeze is coming from the east this morning and it's making it feel pretty chilly.

If you can, try to book an advanced ticket, you might have to wait a month or two before these tickets are available plus make sure you can book your bicycle on the trai, it's by far the cheapest way to travel although you do have to commit to the exact train and time you've booked. If you need flexibility then buying off peak anytime returns is your only option but you may be able to knock a few pounds off the price by splitting the tickets, ie buying a return from station A to station B, then purchasing a separate return from station B to station C. Use red spotted hankey to experiment.

Thanks - I've signed up for a 12 week alert for when they (apparently) release cheaper tickets. I'll keep checking and see if I can get a cheaper combination. Cheers!
