Ha ha, it's how the NHS works, by committee! It's project team meetings, I have to somehow convince them working with other projects is a good idea. Ho hum!
Hmmmm.............in the glorious prison service I found that being given projects by your line manager was actually their way of offloading work that they should actually have been doing!

Interesting day today.
Great bike ride, a bit of guitar practice (not enough, Too many interruptions). Chap came to sort our our electric & gas meters and offered me a job while he was there. Quite tempted really, I'm bored with the grooming and would like a 'proper' job that I can do alongside the Guitar Academy one. Boss guy seems very nice. Guitarist, cyclist, runner and looks a bit like @stephec. Have you got a brother?

I am just in from seeing a band called Cask at one of our local pubs. One of their guitarists works for the Guitar Academy and is an awesome player. It was a great night and I'll definitely go and see them again. I can highly recommend them if you see them advertsing a gig (Norwich based though so you might need to be visiting the area)
He sounds like a top bloke.

One of the fitters I used to work with took redundancy and did a gas safety course, now all he does is contract to the council by going round checking the meters in council houses, he loves it.

One of my mates used to work at a place where if you were given a special project you had to start looking for a new job.

Quite often if they wanted to get rid of you the project would get cancelled after a few months, and it was bye bye as your old job had already been filled.
