XL mens for me & I am now 35" waist was 33/34"....

They seem to have adopted Italian sizing (which is tiny) most of my stuff is Italian brands anyway.

Only Rapha seem close to proper GB sizes, but maybe Endura too, never tried Endura.

It is odd how many variants of a same size there are between manufacturers. Does your head in

Went to one of my favourite places Monday, Rivington Barn.

Big motorcycle meeting place, MTB trail, saw a gorgeous Santa Cruz 510 in orange & blue.

Loads of road cyclists near the visitor centre (not the barn).
Dog walkers, walkers, families etc.

Sat in the sun with some butties, relaxing, kicking a ball with Jr Miss SC.

Tasted a flagon of San Miguel for Quality Testing purposes (I can report back that it was quality).

Spoke to a lovely couple out dog walking their Border Collie, Jr introduced to it & had a stroke, they were Very Posh....



about the same age as me, 19 > 21.

A great place for all on a lovely day.

Excited.. I've ordered a new bike - a Giant Revolt 2 as a family outings and winter commuting bike - from jejames cycles with 15% off - should be here on Friday;

and surprised ... Advertising my old cheapy hybrid for sale at £50 has produced a flurry of interest on Facebook local sales pages & someone's coming to take it away later today.

Its weird I have a medium altura windproof winter jacket that is well baggy.
Yet I have other stuff from other manufacturers that is large or x/l and it is a good fit. Sizing can be a nightmare.

Wouldn't you be better off in womens ?

I ask because (disclaimer) I am led to believe (your Honour) that womens thighs & buttocks are generally bigger & differently shaped.
The pad shape will also differ.

I am also led to believe that womens cycle kit is much better than ever.

Worth trying some on maybe ?

Sorry I had such a busy weekend that I had no time to log on at all! I would be better in womens, but sadly they do not make them big enough to fit me. You see if you are over about a size 16, you are not allowed to have cycling kit to go over your boobs or your thighs. When I have kicked some more of my weight to the curb I will be able to buy womens ones. I figured mens are better than nothing.

Any way, how are we all? I hope a fun and happy weekend was had by all! I did not go on my bike once this weekend and this morning it was persisting down so I am going out tonight to have a ride instead.

I went back to town
The ex was going in so I blagged a lift and we had a mooch round. The lad went to the gym so got a lift and joined us for a KFC.
Now home and watching the weather for the ride later

Just going to make some Chai. On a side note, my grandparents their 51st Wedding Anniversary on Saturday!

Amazing, really. 51 years throughout the 25 that Granddad spent in the Army, all the moving and postings and raising two kids and all that jazz. Wonderful, really.

I'm patient when I shouldn't but I closed an account three weeks ago, I get reminder for payment in my emails this morning..
I calls using 08 Wizard (Android, gives the free alternate number for some of the big companies who don't supply 0800 numbers)
Sorry, your account hasn't been closed..
10 mins later, hopefully shut...
