Tea? (Part 3)

It's amazing the work that must go into some of them - the standard of finish is so good these days. A bit different from years ago when some would be in almost the same condition as when they were working. A mention was made of one of the Sentinel steam waggons which used to only attend the show if it wasn't needed for a job (it wasn't retired until 1980).

There's a Sentinel engine at the Avon Valley Railway, it's in the process of being restored.

Lovely, WD throws her grandchildren high into a hedge to get the blackberries she can't reach...
I did buy myself a 'new' old walking stick last week, more like a staff but with a hook handle, excellent for pulling down high damson and sloe branches to picking height.
Coffee, steaming hot...Damn, I'm at it now!

I did buy myself a 'new' old walking stick last week, more like a staff but with a hook handle, excellent for pulling down high damson and sloe branches to picking height.

We have tons of blackberry bushes all over the property. And I have to make the kids earn dinner somehow don't I.

Talking of elastic. I remember when my mum used to thread my gloves through the arms of my coat and then attach elastic to them so I wouldn't lose them.
we all had them, and we spent loads of time pulling the gloves on each others coat and letting go to see it twang back
